Years ago I had an A engine that drank oil like that. When I finally pulled it apart I found it had a Gudgeon Pin score down the side of one of the cylinders. Happy Motoring.

Today I put the last hub on the rear end for my '31 Coupe project. Rear end now completely rebuilt minus spring. Got out rear wheels, already painted, and hopefully will get tires on them tomorrow....

Get rid of the oil control rings that most suppliers provide nowdays and fit proper oil rings as would have been in the engine when it left the factory. You are not getting enough oil to the rings....
