1917 touring rack

Did the 1917 model t touring come with a spare tire rack in the rear? Was it after market or was there one at all?

I am having trouble with my shifter jumping out of second gear. I replaced the shifting tower that was worn and it shifts good but still pops out second gear. Any ideas?

How do I remove hinge pin and not chip the paint? Is it better to take it off the door and do it on the bench?

Cast Iron brakes

How can I tell the difference between steel and CI break hubs. I have a model A and have nothing to compare it with. Hope its not too much of a dumb question.

Got it working! Needed two Resistors and a non electronic flasher. This was a 12 volt led system.

12 volt

I just bought a 1930 Town car. The car has been converted to 12 volt. How do I know if it is negative or positive ground? Will it work either way or blow the fuse? The battery was not in the car.

Anybody know if there is a gasket between the transmission and the cap? I think there is the one on the back toward the universal joint but not sure if I need one on both sides. This is for a 1926...

Thanks Chad I order that brake switch but they have been out of stock for the last month. My 17 has one lamp on the rear so I hope to find a way to put some LED lights on the front and back. Not sure...

The Edison Ford has a show in Feb. that can have a lot of T's. Its a great show lots o Fords up to 1970.

I have a 1917 Touring. What is the best way to install brake and signal lights on the rear and front. What led lights are a good choice? I love keeping it stock but need to be safe!

Hi all, How do I wire a magnito horn for a 1917 Tourin and how does it mount on the fire wall? Horn button sits on the top of steering column.

Well towed it with a pickup around the block and it started right up. Just needed to losen

Thanks Mike, I have a similar pin remover but it won't work on the top door hinge so I guess I need to remove the hinge? Anybody else run into that?
