Well after pondering it awhile longer, I found the perfect tool!

As soon as I ramp up production, I’ll be selling these in the swap meet section! :)

These are brand new wheel cylinders, so no bleeding. And the shoes are located in the wheel cylinder properly. Although they are hanging a little loose because there’s no spring pulling them towards...

47 brake springs too tight!

I weigh a tad over 200 pounds and with all my body force I still can’t get this spring within 2 inches of the brake shoe.
Now I have put brake springs on big trucks for years and never had this much...

My great uncle served in the Pacific, did a lot of island hopping. I need to find out more about him, I know he was on Betio Island for sure.

I used this stuff from Hime Depot. I leave it on till paint bubbles or softens, scrape excess off with a plastic scraper, then use a scotch brite pad from supermarket with paint thinner. Works great!...

42-48 brake setup, drums are hub inside style, vs hub outside, but either will work with those backung plates.

I don’t know if this has been posted before, but I just saw it and was amazed at what they did to a stock Flathead to squeeze 250 horsepower out of it.

I have also Been looking for one of those 15 x 5 rims. Pretty pretty much went through all my local sources and nobody has one.
I hate to pay the shipping but I’ll have to start looking elsewhere....

Well I saw the incorrect steering wheel, but now I have to go back and watch it again. Still a really good price for a nice looking car! (Unless the underside was all rotted out.)

My 35 coupe right rear fender is a sedan fender. They cut the original fender about 4 inches from the body and grafted on the sedan fender.
The mounting holes for the sedan fender can still be seen...

Thinking so, but I have not gone back to my friends to look recently. He has many projects and I think he put it on the back burner. I’ll stop by there today or tomorrow and see where he’s at with it.
