Re: Posting pictures

If it takes more than a couple of lines of instruction on how to do it,I'm out.I do realize though, that tech comes as easy to a lot of people as breathing. My interest in tech is close to zero.My...

Re: '30 under tank gas valve threads

I think you need to back up a little bit.The tank thread size is 1/4 pipe.It is not fine. The outlet to the gas line is not pipe or compression,it is flare.

Re: Missed vital step

I think you are going to find it is combustion by-product.It will be a little sticky, and maybe have a little brownish tint to it.May smell a little like creosote too.It wicks out through the gasket...

Re: 28, 29 vs 30,31 What do you like any why?

I have a nice 28 Phaeton that had a 29 2 tooth box put in it.That seems to be the only real deviation from the early features on that car.If it hadn't already been done I probably would have done it...

Re: Bench Seats for a 1930/31 closed cab pickup

Roadster seat springs are nowhere near close.I had a set of nice originals for my pickup, but I really didn't like them. They were near perfect, but you have to remember people weighed 130 pounds back...

Re: 28, 29 vs 30,31 What do you like any why?

I was given an early 31 in 1968,when I was 12.(I'm still driving it)So I always kind of preferred the 30-31's.I did build a 28 open cab truck,and owned a 29 coupe.Just before Christmas I bought a...

Re: Do you have any pin up girls with your Model A?

Vince Falter has a nice section on pinups.I can find the page, but can't open it.Same thing happened about 5 years ago.He sent me a link that worked, but is no longer valid.

Re: It Was Tough But......

That does look good, and I'm a guy that doesn't like stone guards. It's just that I don't like them hiding the shell above and below the core. How did you get it spaced out so it isn't riding on the...

Re: FRT Brake rod question?

Also, check to see if your spindle has any up and down play. If it has play the arm will have more play when hanging free,if the car is jacked up under the axle.
