I used to travel to shows on the i/state and state roads 50-55 at least, 1000 mi+ between oil changes, etc. No problems, not sure when or if engine was rebuilt, but acted that way. The "new" to me 40...

When looking for a heater for an A many people forget about or never knew about the SouthWind gas heater. Heaters and parts are available on the WEB. They'll drive you out of the car, I've been told....

Be Careful. If I remember correctly some of the measurements in the book are INCORRECT. Depending on which printing you have also.

After mine sat all winter all I ever did was re-hook the battery, turn on the gas, choke and start it. FWIW

I would pull the timing cover and ck alignment of the timing gear to the crank gear. JMO

Get a thermal temp gauge at Harbor Freight or off the i/net.I don't believe your gauge is accurate. Even if way overheated NO water/coolant should come out from the cap, do the g/hound rebuild and...
