Re: Car at auction

Re: 1951 ford f-5 troubleshooting

Start with a full check of the fuel system: tank to carb.

Re: '48 Ford Tudor speaker grill removal

WB42, the speaker grille is attached from the back with several mounting screws. A couple suggestions :

Remove the seat - yeah, I know, it's a pain - it will actually speed everything along. ...

Re: Screw type air compressor

As I recall, the proprietary HVAC compressor oil was mainly mineral oil with some colorants and unique inert ingredients to facilitate tracing analysis. Should a compressor fail, oil analysis would...

To remove the button, compress the clip on the backside. Push the button forward ( toward the seat) and you'll see the connection wire. The...

Re: hunting a ghost problem in my '47

There shouldn't be any junk in a new tank. While I understand that you blew out the existing line, did you check the condition? A partially plugged fuel line can cause the issues you described. Ask...

Re: 40 turn signal options??

The issue with many of the older units is with the rear lights. Seven wire systems were designed to allow the rear factory housings (with dual filament sockets and bulbs) to provide turn/brake/tail...
