Does anyone remember the sheetmetal bead roller that was hand held and operated with a 3/8" ratchet?

Original surface is pretty tough but carbide does a nice job turning it.
Speed plays a big factor in both rotation and feed so does the angle of the tool bit to the surface.

Ah ,the old days of mordrop. Ever get one back that had the end ripped out and crudely welded back together? At the end it was a good thing they closed up.

I recognized the agriculture pioneer, lots of corn fields in the lower half of the state. Unless it had something to do with some kind of planting or harvesting equipment?

Got it with project. Its the original ford 1933 to 36 ford axle thats dropped to 4". Can run it with spring on top.like 1928 to 1934 or spring in front with a later 35 to 36 wishbone then it will fit...

Nothing i could find like a simple hardware store remedy.

Ended up machining one out of nylon and slit it with a razor blade to install it. Then fitted the bore to a snug fit.

The bed side resembles the bottom half of a panel truck side but the bed is separate from the cab
The roadster cab rear section also looks like the cab size is longer then the regular closed cab

Post office is a mess. Mailed a Priority package from Delaware to Porto Rico. Sat for 4 days in Philadelphia and now showed up in Chicago. 2 and 3 day flat rate Priority is now taking 9 to 14 days.

Its not a complicated job, but you need a lathe with a big enough swing to clear the spring hanger.

Becareful who you get the sleave from. The best ones i have found are from the Columbia rear...

The red truck in the picture shows what i know as the kidney bead behind the air cleaner. It covers the junction of the wiring harness.
