Rods from x- frame to late model flathead v8 ???

Hi guys, file this under dumb question, I have a 35 ford that has the bars removes between x member and engine bell housing.
What do the bars do?

Problem with high oil pressure?

Hi guys, seen a lot of talk with engines with low oil pressure problems, but I have a recent rebuild with high oil pressure.
The engine does have a high volume pump on it with remote oil filter.

Hi Guys, I have a 35 ford that steers like a semi. All the front end parts are good including the king pins. Would like to change the steering box but retain the original look. Any suggestions?

Have a bad Shimmy after 55 mph. Tie rod ends are good . Drag link adjusted.
Replaced steering box. Switched front wheels and tires front to back. Checked king pins , tight. Any ideas?
