Smacking the bulge with the rail under pressure is an old and good trick .

DO NOT HEAT the rails .
Many make that mistake and then wonder why it bends so easy in that spot after .

The bends in the siderails will probably not be visible kinks like the rear bends . The gap looks like the hump may be under the rear of the cowl .
Again take out the shims first as you are getting...

A couple laser levels and some plumbobs .
Plumbobs can be nothing more than nuts hanging on threads .

Painted the extra rear fenders for Mikes car .

Had the factory paint scanned and there was a studebaker blue that matched better than the new dearborn blue .

Bodyshop owner said to match the...

Had a 630 JD 2cly that had a weeping spot on the bottom of the block .
Picked at it and instant drain hole .

Tractor ran good so I started enlarging the hole until there was enough meat to tap...

Seeing it that close it is an Aussie type and the lower curtains are different than US type ones .
Uppers look the same though .

33-34's here and I use SAE 140 .

Actually use it it trans , rear , u-joint and steering .

Looking at mercmans big pic notice another phaeton to the left of the 33 .
Must be a 33 or 34 as it also has the upper curtain in place .

Real hard to find pics of a 33-34 phaeton with these in...

Really liked pic 10 .

Curtains on and you can clearly see the long upper curtain .
The L & R that attach to the 4 studs on the inside of the top irons .

Hard to find pics of them in place...

The seller states the roadster came from a doctor in Argentina that had many old fords . That would be Mario V Kaplan MD if memory serves me correctly .

Got the reversed eye main leaf out .

Spreader was useless with the eye's up so I took the spring apart in the car .
Shackles were no problem with all other leaves removed .

Put the neg on a head nut and the pos on the starter stud .
If you do not touch the starter button you will not back...

The tracks are where the spring loaded strips are .

Your window frame has the multiple rollers like 33-34 so I would assume you need the spring loaded tracks also .

Dunno the answer to your question . That said 33-34 Cabriolet tracks have a spring loaded felt covered bar in them . The window frames have rollers and the spring loaded bars keep them from rattling...
