Re: Frame paint/finish

Ed, are you talking about chassis paint or 'chassis saver paint'? I have used the chassis saver (I think its a brand) that compares to Por 15, and that stuff is tenacious as well. The only way to...

Re: Frame paint/finish

I have had lots of architectural metals powder coated. For the most part it is a good product. However, I think the longer it is in use the reality sets in. See Brents post. Although it is very...

Re: Car of $10 Bill

I heard many years ago that it was a Hupmobile. Even before I even knew what a Hupmobile was! Given the size, I am not overly surprised that the details arent 100% correct.

Re: Paint A Car With Rustoleum?

I will clarify, I have NEVER painted a car with a brush and roller technique. I was trying to imply that IT COULD be done effectively. My experience with brush and roller is purely architectural. I...

Re: Paint A Car With Rustoleum?

I didnt respond yesterday because I thought the person that revived this 7 yo thread was a troll. Maybe not. But since others have chimed in for those wanting to paint their own cars it is a doable...

These guys are great to deal with, and they have a paint that is 'rts' ready to spray. It doesnt need mixed with a hardener and has a very long shelf life.

Re: help with Model A market values

I would think the people interested in Model A's because they grew up with them is a very slight part of the buying segment at this point. I would define 'growing up with them' as being born in the...

Re: Coast to Coast in a Model A

Yes WORRY! I suppose its my nature, although generally I am a very easy going guy. Heck I worry about taking my 70's car to a cruise night if it will get me home. Its very reliable and 99% trouble...

Re: help with Model A market values
