Chopped 51 Mercury

For Sale: Chopped 1951 Mercury 2dr by Gene Winfield in 2009 in Oklahoma City at one of his workshops. 4 inches in the front and 5 inches in the back. Chop is not completely welded up and finished....

Before posting on here, dad checked on a slugging wrench from a local place and they wanted $104. Called the guy who comes on site and puts on rear tractor tires for us. Used his 1 inch air impact...

I tried a Dewalt electric impact and nothing happened. Used the 3/4 inch drive socket on it. Then used the 3/4 inch racket on the socket with a piece of pipe. Nothing.

Lug nuts stuck......

Working on a 46 ford 1.5 ton truck. Pulled the right front wheel off with no problem. Tried the left front and all 5 won't even budge. I was trying to turn them clockwise. The studs are left hand...

I started looking around for a wiring harness. I've got to get started on this truck. Someone stepped on the roof when it was in a barn back at my grandparents farm. I've got a shop to work on it...

My dad bought this 46 1.5 ton truck back in 1973. Used it on the farm lightly for several years. Decided on getting it back up and running again. Pulled the engine and took it to get rebuilt....

Thanks for the info everyone! I called Wheels now and they have the 19.5 for $200. 22.5 for $225 a wheel. I need to get the truck in running condition first.

Alternative to split rims on 1.5 ton trucks?

My dad has 46 Ford 1.5 ton truck with the 5 lug split rims. I was wondering if there was any alternative to the split rim. Wondering if I could find a one piece wheel for the truck? Thanks!

Found it yesterday. In between the radiator and front cross member. Thanks for the input everyone! I was curious to know if they were in different locations.

Been searching for the vin under the hood on the left frame rail on a 46 ford coupe. Took a look at the other coupe that I have and its right next to the front cross member. I've done some searching...
