rain gutter sealer
What is better to use under rain gutters and hideem welt, Loctite flashing and roof polyurethane sealer or 3 M fast and firm sealer. Should I put a little sealer in the hidem welt before I fold it...

29 steering column support
I saw on an earlier post the use of a modified 30-31 support on a 29 steering column. Any other ideas as to how to support the 29 column to keep it from cracking the solder on the lower support.

I have a 29 coupe with a late 31 carb on it. The gas line goes directly into the carb with no side bowl filter. I do have the glass sediment bowl on the firewall.

What do you use to seal either wire-on or hidem welting and do you use it both underneath it before you tack it on and then also in between it to seal it closed?
