so the answer is that they connect to the same post on the alternator as the yellow/black wire from the terminal box?

wiring question?
The double yellow wires coming from the light swithch which normally connect to the cutout.......what do you do with them if you have an alternator instead of generator?

gas gauge float replacement
is it possible to replace the cork float without removing the whole gauge....ie, bending wire arm enough to get float off and putting new cork on then "unbending" the wire arm?

speedo cable lubrication??
putting my '30 fordor back together now after a llooonnnngggg hietus. speedometer was working ok when dismantled. should i lubricate the cable somehow or just leave it alone?

1930 fordor three window. brattons and snyders don't have anything. Berts has individual parts which i guess are the same as macs kits. any other options or recommendations?

thanks for the reply. when i replaced the body on the frame, i put no shims in except the one under the cowl. do you you think it would be better to remove that one or place one behind the cowl. ...

I agree with "drip rails". However, i didn't find any such animal or its gasket at brattons, snyders or macs. I just felt it was odd that there is no mention of them. Trying to post pics but...
