Thanks to everyone who replied to ID my engine photos. I will notify the owner. Maybe he can sell it to someone doing a Studebaker project. The transmission next to it is a 3 speed with OD.

While on a parts quest I saw this engine. The guy had a couple of ford trucks (56 and 58) that it may have came out of. If someone has an idea what this is, I'll take a trip back to have another...

The heavy duty springs and the gas tank filler that goes out the side is like my 52 Ranch Wagon. My 54 Customline has fewer springs leafs and the gas filler is out the back. I hope this helps.
