Re: 1938 Firestone whitewall tire pressure

Jeff is correct. It isn't recommend to use tires beyond 10yrs old. The rubber is no longer what it once was and has a high potential to fail no matter how they look visually.

Re: Holley 94 rebuild time

My float valve needle has been replaced at some point with a vitron tipped needle. The steel needle under the squirter has a deep groove around the tip, thinking it should be replaced as well.

Has...

Re: Holley 94 rebuild time

Thanks for all the replies. Yes I removed the little ball and cleaned all in there. Noticed the brass needle under the squirter had a groove worn right into it as well as the existing synthetic pump...

Just clarify/re ask the OPs question:

Can cornhead grease be mixed with existing steering box gear oil? Or should the existing gear oil be removed prior to using cornhead grease?

I would like...

Re: Rust Oleum spray cans

I have the same issue. Not sure if its the little tube coming out of the can or the tip. I've had some that I've never used, only a month or 2 old and nothing comes out even after trying different...

Re: Radiator Cap

Correct me if I'm wrong but with the overflow tube coming off the side of the filler neck, if you are using a pressure cap it pressurized the system and overflows or releases thru the tube once that...

Re: Choke/Throttle rods

The phenolic spacer is probably the issue. When I added one on my '38 the rods protrude 3/8" - 1/2" into the cab past their previous position on the dash. I just put the same thickness rubber washer...
