any rear wheel bearing I ever replaced came with a retainer ring.
and yes a good press makes it a whole lot easier

I do not run in a dirty enviroment, It has a nice sized air filter.
starts getting black almost immediatly. Has done it right from the start up.

my flathead is an 8BA, maybe 2000 miles on rebuild. Right from the beginning it turns the oil black.

The neighbor says this has to be to much fuel . Has a stock 94 on it.

i remember right I reversed the arms on the Pivot arm.

i am 75 year young. Been using pennzoil all my life. Have rebuilt many of my vehicles engines. All were clean inside. Must be regular oil changes.

engine was rebuilt by a reputable shop. Has a full flow oil system from Mark Kerby. Has an oil filter. Has 10w40 oil . Pennzoil. Engine has a little over 2000 miles on it.

I actually had to cut the arms and reweld them on my 46 to get it to pull down all the way. And it still leaks. Used a drake seal.

I used the F 100 conversion on my 1946 Ford sedan.
then put the self adjusters on them. They work just fine.
My parts came from NAPA.
