Question trunk

I have metal trunk on our 1928 Phaeton, it is bolted to the rack. We got a new trunk with leather straps with buckles, Do I still bolt this trunk to the rack? A still bolt it to the rack?

white wall tire cleaning

What's the best cleaner to clean the WW tires? Years ago I used a small brass brush, back in the 50's and 60's, I don't remember the cleaner we used.

With the valve cover off, I would spray the laquer thinner and MM oil around the valve and guides while turning the engine...
