I have 2:75's in my stock Falcon Sprint . Like them a lot on the highway, & decent takeoff acceleration .

Over the yrs. I have had Pertronix in a half dozen various cars w/no problems.
They were all 12 volt, used correct Pertronix coil, & were the "Igniter 2" model. - F F

I had the same problem a few yrs. ago. It was the synchro(s). Did this just start, or has it been gradually getting worse to the point that it is really noticeable now? - F F

I was thinking of putting 3.50's in my '37 w/stock 85 hp., 24 stud engine,
w/27" tall tires. Now, I am thinking that 3.25's...

Looks like I am a youngen' on here! I just turned 65 . My first car was a 1956 Ford that I bought in 1972 @ age 16 . Paid 175.00 for it and drove it home ! Wish I still had it . - F F
