I used double ought 00 wire I got from a welding shop. The difference in starting was remarkable.

I chose to run two plates on the vehicle. One current and one historic. I’ve had No problem at all.

Why don't you try calling them on telephone! If they think you’re going to fabricate your own they may not want to assist! That’s why no email response likely!!

if you look in Hemmings there are 4 or 5 techies that will rebuild your casing into an alternator. Not cheap !
