Have a guy interested in buying my truck. He wants to pay with a USAA bank check. He has agreed to allow the check to clear but if it's real I don't want to hold him up either.

Could the low rear end gearing have over stressed the trans gears?
I would think that third gear would have the most load on it though but maybe not since he was pulling a loaded trailer coupled...

The first guy never came through but it's really time to clean out the garage.
A few guys asked me about what gears were in there. I took a better photo and counted...

But when you raise the hinge point doesn't the throw arm ( below the hinge point) become too short or are you lengthening it as well?

lets see your short throw adapter.
Did you make it or buy it?
I believe the concept is the higher the hinge point the shorter the throws. Is that what you did?

I modified the original shifter. I cut off the ball and then heated and bent it to where I want it. Then just welded it to an aftermarket shifter that mounts to the top of T5. Put a little home made...

A roadster and a Ferrari engine?

I was surfing the net the other day and saw a video of a 32 ( I think) being built with an early 70's Ferrari engine already installed on the frame.
Anyone know the story behind that car?
