Re: 34 to 37 steering box

I had the wobble and new king pins fixed it. What is not widely known is the pins were supposed to be greased every 1000 miles. We are too used to modern cars.

Re: Shift fork

I had a wild thought some years ago. I did some measuring and it looked lihe a 91A fork was offset the width of the fork. I was going to clamp a cut back side shift fork to the back of an earlier...

Re: Carburator or Fuel Pump stock V8 Flathead

An excellorator pump is only for when the engine transitions from low to high power. It gives a small shot of gas until the carb can deal with the added flow. A bad pump will not effect the engine...

Re: Driveline assyembly sequence

The light end of the rear end is easier to handle than the engine trans combo. I would sure would put the engine in first and get it secured and do the rear last. There is not much room trying to...

Re: 32 brake lever sector dimension

Tom, I would like you to put a straight edge across the centers of the two mount holes and measure to the center of the pivot hole. It looks like it is a small distance. It does not need to be super...

Re: 32 brake lever sector dimension

I was not going to move the lever pivot hole. I was thinking of moving the mounting holes down. I think I can play with the photos by cutting out the shape of the 32 sector and compairing it to the A...

32 back window shade brackets

These were on my 32 3W when purchased. I never had the shade. They are slightly tweeked. They have small dents on the backs. They may be correct for other body styles as well.

Re: Old hydraulic brake conversion on a '32

Those are 39 pedals and the left leg of the K member is gone. It is incredible what people. do. I was able to cut and bend some 46 pedals for my 32 with only a small hole for the MC pushrod. And I...

Re: '39 - '48 Master Cyl...rear hyds on a '32

Re: Hydraulic brake questions - 1932 Coupe

On my Deuce, I always had the car in a very nose down attitude when bleeding. Probably silly. The rear backing plates mount at an angle and with worn shoes or drums the wheel cylinder has a lot of...

Re: 1934 Steering box

Flathead Ted says out of stock. There are several people selling modified F100 boxes. I did it myself and probably saved a fortune. It was a improvement.
I made a weld jig off the original box, cut...

Re: 1932 Transmission swap

Any late model trans is going to require major rear end modifications plus chopping the K member. I built a 32 5W with a 274, lincoln gears, 3.25 rear. The trans was wonderful. I would get your trans...
