'36 rear end in my '32

How much do I shorten a '36 torque tube and drive shaft for use in my '32
p'up. The stock 4 cyl rear end won't take much more 286 cu in abuse.
I'm lazy on this one...just need the number.

'42 - '52 truck. As is at a swap meet, take your chance $75 -$100. Over time 8 out
of 10 yield good 78 series...

Send the carb and what's left the kit to Sal, While he's doing his thing change the points and condenser in the distributor....be sure to set the gap correctly. Too wide a gap can...

Porous bronze bushings, invented by Walter P Chrysler, absorb and transmit lubrication.

Even mild heat causes the 'cast in' lubrication to flow from the bushing to the rotor
shaft.

The motor is a 286 cu in 8BA......L-100 cam.....max comp EAB heads. The rule
of thumb is no more than 2 #'s over stock so there's where I stopped. I will definately

I think the 216's are breaking down, the motor begins to run rough. The rough

running gives the effect similar...

Anybody got a loose '39 - '48 mast cyl they could measure the stroke for me ? And the '32 rear axle in my p'up causes the '40 backing plates to be rotated which in turn places the wheel cylinders at...

Not to mention you are 'eating' those 3 hours. I have (4) '49 Merc OD transmissions, I think the gearing is identical but the clusters use loose needle bearings
not the usual...

Seat both idle mixt screws then back each one out 1 turn. Fire it up and once warmed up turn one screw in until the motor stumbles, back that screw out 1/2 turn
and go to the...
