Re: How Close to (Over)Square In V-8 Bore/Stroke?

Well, thanks everyone who responded with knowledge and wisdom.

I grew up up reading 40's and 50's (B&W and early color) HRMs that I bought at some expense for teenager at flea markets. Still...

Re: Hey Fellas... Some Clarification...

Knowledge is knowledge, and one would hope leads to wisdom. FordBarn always set the standard in general for me. JJ and HAMB got way too complicated for me, opinionated and "off-topic resistant"...off...

The older R10 O/D is a 3 wheel planetary, the T85 with R11 O/D is 4 wheel and definitely more robust, I think I'll be ok unit has...

Re: oil

IMO don't overthink it, nor overspend. The oil change interval on an antique engine is so relatively short that many of the points compared to modern engines are moot. I run a stock cartridge type...

Re: Inline filters from mechanical pump...part numbers and placement?

Ok for using the stock filter bowl these filters fit...looks like the napa 3039 (WIX 33039) doesn't need a spring to hold it up. Fram CG3 fits and needs spring, not that that is a big deal.
