Re: 1935 or 36 Dash Waterfall Question

Late 1936 deluxe with the wood grain dash is where I have seen that layout. Makes a nice clean look in my opinion. Has a chrome roll-out knob also.

Re: Trying to save a "raised deck" v-8 !!!!!!!

Every time I see "raised deck" flathead I laugh. There is nothing "RAISED". Some castings in the 1938-1940 production had a "VOID" of metal around the area of the intake ports. After machining it may...

Re: 33-34 and 35-36 coupe trunk hinges

I've just been going thru this, myself. From what I have found, the cast pivot blocks that mount on the body are the same between 33-34 and 35-36 coupe hinges But the "U" sharped cast pivot arms that...

Re: Need 1935-36 Ford Coupe Trunk Hinges

Re: Ford 1933-34 Tudor rear garnish moulding

In my experience, yes, the exposed moldings themselves are the same. But, the 34 standard has a metal attaching clip, spot welded to the molding at the rear while the 33s have an additional hole for...

Re: Finding Babbiting Mains Repair Shop ?

Ya B-O-B, getting the look I want while using parts I have is still going to be expensive. Good "pre" 37 21 studders are hard to find. I want to avoid the water pump cover plates on the 37s.
I'm ...

Re: Cam and crank question 59A

What stroke pistons did they use to even get it to run? Maybe the crank grinder didn't know what he was doing. I don't understand what kind of bearing could be used with that crank pin size. I think...

Re: '36 Window Regulator Restoration Question

Re: Broken output shaft on open drive trans

There are two different shafts that use the 29T low. The early one , approx 1942-45?, uses about a 1/8 inch spacer, with a stabilizing pin in the shaft behind the second gear. The later type, approx...
