I have the original rego paper's for my Aussie '35 roadster and it states that it's wheels were silver with the body colour Black .I'm guessing that silver wheels must have been...

I guess that they made do with a 8ba head gasket at some time. You gota do what you gota do. I think that the inlet valve is closed on the compression stroke.

Trevor, that is one "large step for mankind" from the ground. We could have done with a small factory pad mounted on the bumper, to make life a little easier, for our lady friends.

The only problem with a magnetic base drill is that the valve guide angle is not at right angles to the block deck. I'm making a small adaptor out of two 1/2" drive socket...

Sorry Tinker,I should have said that the track is a 1/4 mile oval dirt that runs 410 Sprint cars, Street stocks,Speed cars(Midgets) .

That track surface has been prepped to take water. Most tracks over here are watered with a long boom hanging off the side of the water truck running on the infield.Then the road...
