In addition to my post #10 above. After a light clean up cut on my new cast drums, these shoes fit the drums perfectly without having them arced. The only thing I did was bevel the ends of the shoes...

Like your wheels, but I tried something different. Made an electric wheel rotator using a grill motor. The speed is just right and you can get paint in all areas without runs. Can do one each day...
