I recommend Stipe machine co. shocks. Don't cringe at the cost they are well worth the $$$$.

MMMM Perhaps lower the car with wheels installed. The weight with the car on the ground may the difference.

Depends on what it is. "Musty" can mean a lot of stuff. The best you can do is mask the odor. The problem is through time these odors are absorbed by the fabric and cotton and in some cases the floor...

Can only speak for Washington State but I was always told that pits were outlawed. for years here in town most had been covered up with heavy planking.

If I remember correctly two pills is max. Many simply weld the end of the pin and grind to achieve 7 and a quarter length. No need for the pill.

Depends on what you want. Pleats or plain. On average most upholstery fabric runs 54 inches wide. You need to calculate (add) boxing's ( seat bands ) and welt cord.
