Wow..now I see all the confusion....You really need to be an expert to decipher all the differences in years...There are some e-bay listings, as with craigslist, that are totally inaccurate, not that...

OK...Excellent comparisons.....So...the headlamp mounting bar is on the 'curvature' of the bracket....for the 1930....What do you mean when you say 'early' 30? Are you referring to the 28/29 style?

Front Fender Brackets

What are the differences between the 28/29 & the 30/31 front fender brackets? Is the distance the same between the mounting at the frame, to the head lamp mounting?
