Occasionally, a Model A will show up without the vin number stamped on the frame. Every so often, the assembly line missed stamping the frame. This did not happen very often, but it did happen....

Most of the old style reproduction hose clamps are of very poor quality and will not clamp tightly clear around the hose. Some of the better parts suppliers offer good quality "old style" hose clamps...
