I have a road draft tube off a 55 club sedan you can have. It had a pcv valve in the top hose fitting and the bottom of the tube is cut cut straight instead of at a 45 degree cut. easy to change...

In a different but similar situation I ground down the head of the rivet gun. Buy a cheap one at harbor freight and dont worry if you ruin the head. I still use the one I modified.

Thanks dmsfrr, A trans shop did it but not open today. I think I can use a fluid pump like we use for rear end oil. Or just pull it back out. It is heavy.

I had the fordo rebuilt at a cost of about $1300 so I would rather not have to do a conversion to an AOD.
