Re: 48 mercury door

My car isn't exactly what you'd call a restoration, but I used a pair of 63 Galaxie armrests which are bolted to the door itself through the door panel.

Re: 48 Ford gas fitting going into gas tank

I was looking at my tank the other day and it looks like there is a line that runs from the outlet on the side to about half in.

I picked up a 46-48 gas tank a while back and I'm getting it ready to clean it out.
-I put some heat on the drain plug and the outlet noticed what looked like little metal beads. Are these lead...

Jackson MI swap meet

I was flipping through facebook the other night and saw something about the Jackson MI swapmeet in January. Does this swapmeet usually have a pretty decent turn out/ worth the trip?

Re: 46-48 Ford drag link

I couldn't get under it very well, but this is how close it gets. I got it to wiggle a little way down but I'm sure after it's tightened I'll get a little more clearance.

Re: 46-48 Ford drag link

46-48 Ford drag link

I want to make sure that I'm doing this right.
I found this pic on the interwebs, and it seems to fit better than any other way that I've tried.

Re: Info for ‘42 Super Deluxe Sedan

Seeing that we're on the subject of 42 Fords I'm on the hunt for the trunk handle base for the 42 Ford. I have the stamped trim piece, but I need the piece special to the 42.

Re: New Project 1947 Ford Super Deluxe

We had a BBQ place down the road from us all their walls were decorated with those kinds of posters. Too bad, they dumped all that when they went out of business.

Re: 46-48 front sway bar

1941-1948 u-bolt pad?

I don't know the technical term, but I lost one of the pads for my front spring u-bolts. It's the kind with the two small tabs by the holes. If anyone has an extra laying around.
