I used ANGEL TAPE to hold my windwing glass in place. Angle Tape as seen on tv" available at ACE hardware. Just be sure to have the where you want, that stuff is very sticky and double sided.

I use 1980s Chev. fuel filter. It has the same flared fitting as the valve under
the tank. It is so grossly over size it does not interfere with fuel flow.

( a little larger than a coke can)

Side cover oil filter tube

We lost the copper tube, in shop fire, that goes from the engine to the side cover filter. Can any supply this, or tell me how to make one?

I put 1980-ish GM filter in my30 coupe, under the tank . The fittings are flare just like the model A. Does require some plumbing rework

Water proof tape, you know that stuff they make a boat with, on TV.
Get it where you want it the first time. There is no removing and retrying again. Would make great backing for your problem.

Are you using you a alternator? The GM alternator has a nasty habit of feeding back, causing the run-on.
