Re: Be Careful Out There

All it takes is a moment of a in attention or distraction. Couple of years ago I put a new

Re: What year is this advertisement

Cool piece. I'm thinking 1932 as the v8 was out and the "B" engine was "new". 1941 had the 4,6, and v8. Could be wrong.

Mercman, enjoyed the video. I see the grandfather has a 1957 Chevy 4 door hardtop. My brother has a 1957 Chevy Nomad I've been helping him on. He's had the car for 42 years and doing a frame up. It...

Met Bill at Hershey a number of years ago. I think he had a green 48 Tudor that was mentioned on the Barn. Really nice guy.

Re: '94 F150 E4OD trans control lever

The cap is fairly inexpensive and was still a good number from Ford as far as I know.
Part number should be F2UZ-7A241-CA. The little plastic tabs break on them. Sold
quite a few thru the years...

Wasn't there but there were a number of photos of it in one of Peterson's Complete Ford books. One of the things that got me started on early V8 Fords.

Re: Oil filter conversion sucks!

Is that a still good number from Ford /Motorcraft? Was a good number a few years back.
Motorcraft number FL 766? I think worked on the Ford tractors with overhead valves as I recall.

62 next month. This thread reminds me of when I was a small town Iowa Ford dealer. Our newspaper editor got all the Vets in town to come for a group picture (then did a
nice write up on each of us)....

Re: Woodie Auction today in Auburn, IN

I remember seeing a 1942 maroon Mercury station wagon at the Indy swap meet back in the mid to late 1980's. Wonder if that is the same car. I knew then it was a very rare car.
