Well Took my girlfriend Barbara to her senior prom in 1957 and we got married in 1960. Almost 63 years ago, That makes us both 84 and still out cruising in our 46.

I would mask it and carefully air brush the body color over the striping. Or use a wider brush and hand paint over it. Not rocket science.

46 Ford pickup
We have in the shop a Ford Pickup which is registered as a 1946.
Serial # 799c1420533.
Would that be 1947? Does it tell the type? 1/2 ton? 3/4 ton?
