it might be 4.11 not sure 9:37 gear count came out went to put it in and the gear is hitting the stop were the bearing race sits

changing the gears in the 30 a rear end 3.96 came out putting in 3.54 the gear is bigger on the 3.54 what has to be done on the rear end house to get the gears to work thanks Mike

34 columbia question

I a 34 roaster with columbia rear end the car has all the right stuff for it but the valve for the vacuum on the transmission has any body found something to replace it with or is any one...

i looked at the 35-36 one i said it would pay for the 34 valve but john would not sell just the valve so looking for something else or will go with a 35 or do i need the valve just bypass it and...

well you can only buy the hole thing witch is 1300 but you get all the vacuum parts i only need the valve have rebuilt the rest of the vacuum parts can only buy the 35-36 one from john

setting valves on a 1936 221 v8

I am putting new valves in my 36 the new ones are stainless replacement ones what is the best setting for these the book says 10 to 12 intake and 14 to 16 on the exhaust thanks mike

I have a 36 coupe I need to redo the trans I heard that you can put a newer set of gears in the trans does any body know what years can be put in the trans thanks the car is all stock mike

problem with new babbited rods

when in Hershey in bought rabbited rods from a vender a set of four so now I am ready to rebuild my motor had it bored 20 over now ready to fit the rods to the crank to find the rod and cap have...

49 merc shitfers on the trans

just picked up a 49 merc with 34000 original miles but it been rode hard and put away wet the shift arms are badly worn does a shifter from a 51 merc fit the 49 trans thanks mike
