61 Ford rear seat

Usually the seal leaks because the bushing is worn. Should replace both at the same time. The grooved yoke needs to be replaced also.

Occasionally the rivets that hold the clutch lever pivot (7522) break off. We used to replace the rivets with a tapered head screw that you could bolt in. Again, you'll have to pull the trans.

I've taken a drill just big enough to fit between the splines and drilled out the bottom of the handle a bit so it would stay attached to n the stem. Still had to lose the spring behind the trim...
