I built my stromberg ball ends up with weld and carefully filed them until they were a 1/4inch round.

Brian I know of a guy in Tauranga restoring a Bren Gun Carrier which was built in the Railway Workshops in Wellington, I have supplied some parts to him for it, apparently they were built there...

I was told by a well known English Ford V8 club member that the military had a reserve of Ford V8 engines stored at two centres during the war which were owned by Ford and Ford Motor Co were told...

So the Military Ford V8 24 stud engines were cast and made in Canada, and U.S.A, and the 21 stud surplus models were made in England apparently and fitted to the Pilot cars and Thames trucks after...

I read article on this site a long time ago, and that an elderly guy who restores model A klaxon horns solders a penny on the diaphragm to alter the tone of the sound.

I seen an article somewhere that says if you solder a penny to the the diaphragm of the Model A klaxon horn it alters the sound, is that correct

I have a English Commercial frame on my 32 and I could not find any number on it anywhere. It has the external strengthening plates riveted on the wheel arches.

We have been notified by the New Zealand Hot rod Association about the faulty Chinese Jack Stands. I avoid any Chinese made Motor, and Engineering products.

Model A Plaque

Would anybody know anything about this plate which apparently was supplied to Model A owners by a parts supplier. This plate is on a 1932 Ford V8 grille which is wrong it shows a Model A Roadster...

I have a Sparton on Horn my 32 which I have rebuilt I have fitted a relay on it and it will only go properly when the battery is fully charged and engine is not running but when you are travelling...

This is the correct way that my spare wheel is mounted on my 1932 - 3/W. It depends how the wheel is mounted on the carrier too.

The organised motoring Tour is on other places in U.S.A such as Detroit, where they are going through the Ford Museum, and Houston. I have not been told what other places they are visiting.
