An option when using the Ford or Mercury "T" fitting, with restricter, is to put the sending unit at the rear of the engine, (as '50 and earlier), and put an oil pressure gauge in the "T" fitting. ...

Plug wire brackets for '49-'50 were round loops with a rubber insulator. Four hole brackets were used starting in '51 but since they're a little neater many were used to replace loop type on earlier...
