The 29 cross brace measure 29 7/8” over all
The early three hole 3 month brace measures 29 3/4”
The two hole 30 cross brace measures 29 1/4”.

The cross brace is the early 30 three hole style. Cape can you post a picture of yours. My town sedan does not have a rear spare tire.

Well, now, I’m thinking the problem is with the crossbar brace. The car is a may 1930 town sedan and the brace is a three hole 1929.

That is how I was thinking it went. But, The rack I have is to narrow between the brackets to go over the bumper bracket (31.25”).

What am I missing in installing the luggage rack? I was under the impression that without the rear spare tire I didn’t need the extensions.

The Briggs window seal attached to the inside of the outer door frame. The parts houses carry that particular seal.

Is it a Murray or Briggs body? It makes a difference and the window seals are completely different.

Fordor door lock repair
I have a fordor door lock and am missing the key. Is there anyone that can rekey this lock? It’s a later 31 style.

Interior vacuum line pic
Trying to figure out how the vacuum line is routed from the firewall fitting until it turns up the windshield stanction. Any pictures would be helpful show bends and routing.

Be careful in lifting. There are metal panels covering the wood in the top of the door opening, these panels will get damaged with weight of body in them.

If the seat is the same as a fordor it is not hard, but the seat upholstery will need to be disassembled. The spring is held in place with two pieces of material that is wrapped around the springs...
