Replacing Water Pumps on a stock '49 Ford

When removing the two bolts from the engine mount, the engine moved forward about 1/8 inch or so. The other 4 bolts on the pump came out just fine. Now the new pump holes for the engine mount don't...

In my stock '49 6 volt flathead, is it possible that a malfunctioning VR could drain the battery over 5-7 days in the garage with all electrical components turned off?

I recently had several condensers tested for my 1949 stock flathead and they all registered .24 Microfarads. Is this a good reading? If not, what should be the correct reading for a "good" condenser?

You have described my problem perfectly! I lined the two up side by side before the installation and the new one looked correct but I did not take measurements. I cannot adjust the support rods any...
