Re: 1936 Column Drop
I've never seen a kit available for a '36 column drop. From a cost standpoint you might be better off finding another complete column drop that's in better condition than what you have now.

Re: Water Pump
Based on your picture, that appears to be a left side '36 Ford water pump. If it's an original '36 pump, it will have a 68-xxxx part number cast into one side. If someone is doing a high point...

Re: Clutch chatter solved!
I also agree 100% with your assessment. The Fort Wayne on the right is the better choice. I've had at least four sets, of clutch & pressure plates rebuilt by Fort Wayne, and those sets are all now...

Re: 39 banjo rear hub pitting?????
Third Generation Automotive (Michael Driskell) has those repair sleeves for sale on ebay at a good price. You could probably call him directly and place an order rather than going thru ebay.

Re: Rear axle shaft loose, banjo 38
The early Ford banjo rear has whats known as floating axles. The tapered end of the axle in your picture requires the drum assembly with roller bearing to be in place for its stability.
Also, the...

I found that one of my special 3/8" ratchets that is hinged between the gear head and handle and a thin wall 5/8" socket works perfectly to remove or install those special nuts that do not have...
