Kinda on the same subject. Is there a way to tell if the jets are old original ones? I mean some of these carbs have been rebuilt a lot.

I used a arbor press on my top. I just set up some little blocks and used the press to push on the middle of the carb. Little at a time with patience. Used a straight edge to verify. And test fitted...

I went backwards and traded my 1959 oldsmobile dynamic 88 for my current model A. I was bored of the Olds and never owned a model A. Don't regret it one bit either.

You guys are so impressed with this 3d printing...5 axis milling...live tooling lathes.. .A lot of us younger guys are impressed with the tool and die makers who made the dies and such to make these...
