Re: 1940 Ford Coupe--looking for CAD drawing of outer shell

Model car makers like Mattel use a planimeter(sp) type devise to construct a 3D profile of a real car when designing their models. Perhaps you could get your 3D profile that way. There is also a...

Thanks for your reply. A friend just checked and told me they are identical to the one on his 1934 Roadster. Can that be true?

Re: Found A Used 1940 Ford a Pickup Hood Ornament

This is not correct. The 1940 standard and the 1940 pickup have a hood ornament that is nearly identical but the 1940 pickup hood ornament is about 1.5 inches longer down the front edge and has two...

Could this one be the elusive 21A-14600 that was used on the 42 to 48 cars?

Re: 1939 1940 1941 firewall wiring kidney shaped cover

Thanks. That seems to answer the question. Your picture is same as my center cover pictured. It appears that the 21A cover only has two wire openings. So my center cover is the 1942 to 1947...

1939 1940 1941 firewall wiring kidney shaped cover

Here are three different firewall wiring covers. The one on left is the commonly seen 1939-1940 cover. I believe the center picture is the 1941 cover with the wide openings for harness. The one...
