Thanks, I agree it looks good without a frame. I want one so I can put a plastic cover over it for a little more protection.

YOM License Plate Frame
Getting ready to register Ruby the truck and was double checking fit on my 39 NM plate. Of course when I ordered a new frame I forgot that these old plates are not the same size as current plates.

Same thing only different, the cooling system is modified. I’m used to my ‘52 Ford tractor with a non pressurized radiator. This one has a stainless cylinder overflow...

Not a typo in original post. Warms to around 160. Stays there for not long. Drops to about 110ish and stays there. All Fahrenheit.

Not sure the quality. But, an aftermarket gauge. The fact that it goes up to around 160 before it drops makes me suspicious of the thermostats.

Drove Ruby the 39 pickup this weekend. Several times actually. And it was too fun to be legal.
Heres something I noticed. Upon start up cool engine warms to about 160 as Im driving. Then drops...

Mark I split my time between Hawaii and the mainland. The truck lives here in New Mexico. Not a lot of old vehicles on the big island, they rust out before they get old.
