If you do not already have it, purchase the Les Andrews Red Book. It goes through step by step what to check; what voltage you should have and where the voltage is. Check your point gap.

Maybe you could make the mats yourself using the rubber floormat as a template. Fun project if you do and can be customized to your liking. I made my front carpet using this process.

Watched this video today. Enjoyed it. The video certainly speaks to the design of the Model A and durability. He says he is going to restore it. I hope to see this in upcoming videos.

Remember that you have to have a measured 6V to the points. If you do not have this, it is likely the ignition switch or the wire from the ignition switch to the distributor.
