Thanks, that is what I assumed. I worked for a Chevy dealership parts department in the early 60's and they too had service pins, but I did not work there long enough to get one.

Thanks for the information, from what you provided, I think you seem to be indicating that the pin is from the period from 1948 to 1963. I have had it for about 19 years since the summer...

I think this is some sort of Ford Award pin, possibly for years of service in the parts department or for the parts department manager.

Years ago I got a Rootlieb for my 28 Tudor it was a perfect fit, while not judged in MARC or MAFCA fine point judging the A took an AACA Jr at Hershey and a Sr at the spring AACA National meet.
