This could be an issue. the glass on the drivers side is currently "floating" in the door.

40 stumbles when braking.

JSeery mostly for light availability, options on led turn signals etc. Thinking of going to alternator, 12v and strombergs efire ignition.

How difficult and expensive is the 12V conversion to do? At this point my car is completely original, so I am trying to see the scope and price of parts to do this before I decide if I should go for...

I think the confusion came in on the LED part. LEDs will be voltage specific, where the one tj was referencing is not LED so changing the bulb works

Best source for glass?

I need a left Quarter panel window for my 40 Deluxe Sedan. Where is best to get this? What is in there is still the factory glass, but some has cracked and fallen off the outer part of the window.

Removed the script from the hood to clean the paint underneath... it looks like the lettering used to be red??

Was this factory or did someone paint the chrome...

41-48 heater installation.

Anyone have a copy of the installation manual for these heaters? I figure since I have the holes in the firewall, and the parts I may as well put the heater back in.

Non pressure is good to know. The gasket on mine is looking rough, but if it isn't sealing pressure it's likely not as big of a deal as I was thinking.

40's 16" 4.5 or 5" wide wheels

16" 5 on 5.5 pattern.
I am looking for a pair of these to install on the rear of my 40 Deluxe. If you happen to have a set of 4 I would be very interested as well.

I have 3 4" wheels and 4 good...

I want to keep mine original but drivable. I have no plans to put bias on it. Radials are and will be installed and people can live with the inconsistency. If I ever want it in a period correct...
