Puttin a key in the drivers door
So I ordered a kit from ecklers to fit a lock to the drivers door on my 39 truck.
I searched online for a how to or any other posts on fitting the lock but I found nothing. Anyone here done that?...

Stamped steel plate with trapped nuts. Plate has ridges in the middle like the striker plate.

Which adapter did you get? A 1/4” plate or a bellhousing?
I mostly did one with the 1/4” plate but ended up going auto “so my wife can drive it” but it’s really for my knee and hip can’t take it...
