according to the judging standards: "May of 31 through end of production-The panel had a distinct line around the ribbed area"etc.

I thought I was going faster than it read. Why is it out by 15MPH.
Could it be the wrong speedometer gear set (the driven gear is stamped with the ratio) or just a bad speedometer?

As the door posts locate the the top rear bow you'd have to suspect the bow itself wouldn't you? is it a reproduction? any thing left of an original for comparison?

I didn't know it was possible to form a channel like that on a brake, thanks Brent for the advice I'll see what I can come up with locally.
