I just replaced my 41 tudor gas tank with one from Dennis Carpenter . Exact as original except for the sender . It takes an adapter to use the sender . Its got the sender on top in original location...

The one pic of piston and wall looks as it may be a cylinder crack . Just my old eyes on a picture but check that cylinder before you sink much money . I hope it isnt .

Keeping them in place has been easy , I use plastic shopping bags . Push the acorn over the nut with the bag in between. Its easy to remove the acorn and ive got some Ive been running for 15 plus...

Any 2”to 2 1/2” open pipe or tube . I use chain link fence posts for duals . Its not loud . It just rumbles on down shifting.
